Looking after your Mr Clipr

The Mr Clipr is made to last, but with a little care you keep it in top condition for even longer, even after dozens of festivals and parties.

Cleaning after use

After a festival or event, the Mr Clipr may have become a bit sticky from spilled drinks. Clean it with a damp cloth and, if necessary, some mild soapy water. Then let it dry thoroughly before putting it away, so no moisture stays behind in the clamping mechanism.

Check the clamping mechanism regularly

With intensive use it is a good idea to check now and then whether the clamping mechanism still opens and closes smoothly. Sand or dirt can build up, especially after use on a festival field or campsite, and can slightly affect how it works over time if it isn't cleaned.

Store it dry

Keep your Mr Clipr in a dry place when you are not using it, to prevent damage from prolonged moisture. A drawer, bag or small box at home is more than enough for the time between two events.

Take care under extreme strain

If you use an empty cup or a bottle with the cap closed at a dance party, it stays on the clip just fine, even during exuberant dancing. If you do have a full cup without a lid on the clip, hold it as soon as you start moving actively, to prevent spills.

Travel advice

Taking the Mr Clipr on a trip or to a multi-day event? Then pack it together with your other small accessories, so it doesn't slide around loose in a bag and get accidentally damaged by other things such as keys or a phone.

Maintenance for different frequencies of use
